Baptisms

Here are pictures from the Baptism service we held in Lurin 3 weeks ago. The group picture is everyone that was being baptized. You will also see a sweet lady named Judith in the picture. She will be going to the states in the next year for a hip reconstruction surgery. She is one of the sweetest ladies I know and yet she was born with 2 dislocated hips and is constantly in pain. You would never know it by the smile that is always on her face. They live in such poverty that sometimes she and her baby do not eat for a few days at a time.

Anyway, the Baptism was wonderful. Our own children, Parker and Ally were able to be baptized in the river by their dad. What an amazing spiritual, cultural and childhood experience.
