IRS (3 scary letters that no one wants to see written on a piece of mail unless it has a check in it).

Good grief! What's next?

Today my father in Florida received a letter from the IRS. They say we owe $14,000.00 in taxes from 2007. The IMB did our taxes last year so we don't have access to the papers and my dad is having problems getting the 23 pages to us via e-mail so we can't look and see what the discrepancy is. The IRS wants us to start making payments by Feb. 4. John is SURE there is some mistake, but my dad doesn't think the IRS is usually wrong. HAAAAA!!! Anyway, just one more BIG issue to deal with. It will have to wait until Monday until we can start digging to the bottom of the problem. But still....it's a burden in my mind to say the least. It probably shouldn't be and I am continually going back to the fact that I just need to trust God with this situation.

John is also dealing with the insurance company on trying to get compensated for our furniture that was damaged in the crate that was shipped from Florida to here. 4 or 5pieces have significant damage and the furniture was only a few months old.

I have some other stuff to write about things God is working on in my heart, but I just wanted to ask you to pray about our $14k IRS problem - kind of a BIGGY!
