Miles Anderson

It's 4 a.m. and I have terrible insomnia for the third time this week. :) So, I thought this would be a great time to tell you that I weighed baby Miles yesterday and he is a solid 17 pounds. He is 6 months and a few days old. What a heavy weight! He is now sitting up (still needs a little guidance), and eating everything he can get his hands on - literally! Miles is so cuddly, calm, sweet, and just a bundle of smiles. He is super "tranquillo" which means relaxed in Spanish. There are 2 kids in the family that can really get him "belly" laughing - Avery and Parker. All Avery has to do is sing and dance and boy does he start laughing like crazy. And Parker just makes silly noises and faces and he responds the same. The rest of us can't get him to do it, but those two kids are pros at it. Miles pretty much just likes to eat, chew on things and sit in anyone's lap. If he is doing any of the aforementioned, he pretty much doesn't make a peep. He is now sleeping about 11 -12 hours a night (so sorry Amy Jo) and wakes up with one of his famous smiles. The cool thing is that he doesn't suck on anything to get to sleep. He likes to just snuggle his nose against whatever he can find in his crib (usually his "blue boy") and he is content like that.

It's amazing that we have had him in the family for such a short time, but yet we wonder what we ever did without him.
