Follow-up to yesterday's prayer request

Thank you for praying for the man from our church. John and I did not sleep very well or very much last night. I had terrible dreams of him being kidnapped, beaten, murdered, etc.... and pretty much had convinced myself that his fate would not be good. Well, John called his home at 7 a.m. this morning only to find out that he arrived home at 1 a.m. last night - yes, after his wife was looking for him at hospitals and had contacted the police. He told John he had an "incident."

Well, today John grilled him and he said that he just got caught up working (he drives a taxi), had a flat tire and an electrical problem and was stuck in the middle of nowhere (hard to be in the middle of nowhere in Lima). He said he just "lost track of time." He lost track of 10 hours? HUH?

Needless to say I am very suspicious. John grilled him and his excuses were exactly what I wrote above. This is the man who is suppose to be taking over as Pastor. Only God knows what really happened yesterday, but it is quite odd for a man to be gone from 7 a.m. - 1 a.m. the next day with no contact to his wife, who was hysterical.
