Taking a break

I'm taking a computer break. It's too easy of an escape and too easy of a connection from my past, which isn't a bad thing, but is when I'm running from the present. Just need to focus on the here and now and Christ. I'll be back when God says! :) Love to you all.

Jessica,

I was just attended the first session of "Daniel" by Beth Moore last night. She said something very profound, 'We have an enemy who wants us to return to places God called us to leave". Now this can be physical, or emotional and not even a "bad" place - but a place nonetheless where God called us away from. Jessica, I am lifting you up today - praying that the Heavenly Father envelopes you & your family & that you know, KNOW, that you are loved and that you are going to be blessed for your sacrifice. I don't know you, I don't even know your story - but I know that you are a sister in Christ and that we will spend eternity together. Thank you for your willingness, like Daniel, to be set apart in this world for our Savior..

Love & Blessings,
Sara from Colorado

Your family is beautiful. Your husband is gorgeous. You are experiencing so many things that others only dream of.God has called you, a special thing. When He called your husband, He knew you were a package deal. You are so important to this mission. Your husband and children need you. God would never give you more than you can handle. He, and only He,knows your value in His plan. It may, at times, seem overwhelming but He knows you will persevere and be stronger. Let go of the past. Life is a circle and it will all come around again. Let go and let God. He will guide you through these times of sadness. He loves you and guides you daily. You are the glue that holds this family, this mission together. I will offer my prayers for you and your beautiful family this day. The sun will shine on all of you and make you smile again. His love will shine on your family. It will be a beautiful day........

p.s. I will also pray for poor little Parker's tooth. Coincidentally, my last name is Parker and I feel drawn to your family. It is as if finding you was meant to happen......

We come to you oh Heavenly Father. We don’t ask you for help; we beg you for it. We don’t request; we implore. We know what you can do. We’ve read the accounts.
We’ve pondered the stories, and now we plead, “Do it again, Lord. Do it again.”
Remember Joseph? You rescued him from the pit. You can do the same for Jessica. Do it again, Lord.
Remember the Hebrews in Egypt? You protected their children from the angel of death. We have children too, Lord. Do it again.
And Sarah? Remember her prayers? You heard them. Joshua? Remember his fears? You inspired him. The women at the tomb? You resurrected their hope. The doubts of Thomas? You took them away. Do it again, Lord. Do it again.
You changed Daniel from a captive into a king’s counselor. You took Peter the fisherman and made him Peter an apostle. Because of you, David went from leading sheep to leading armies.

Thank you Father for this incredible selfless missionary family who only wants more soldiers in your Army. We pray that they are shielded from Satan and all of his works there in Peru for the darkness is great. Let the Pham family be your light.

Place your arms around all of them and let them sit in your lap for awhile as you are their ONly Heavenly Father.

We love you Jessica and will not cease in prayer for you! You are strong like Esther you will survive!

We all like what is familiar and comfortable. You have left your familiar and comfortable life to follow your heart (Jesus). It took a great deal of courage and determination to make such a decision and because of that courage and determination God will give you the strength to endure while you become familiar in your new surroundings. Look to Him for comfort. That's what he wants from us all. God says we are stranger in the world but how often do we really feel that way. We should never feel comfortable anywhere except with God. Bless you for sacrificing comfort for what is truely important, God's call to service.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace!

Big Texas Hugs!
